1) SAMWAC has a vintage 2005 pump control system. It is from an era before
WEB interface and it difficult to program and work with. We need someone to become
familiar with it and understand how to program it while someone is around to answer questions.
There are changes that need to be made to allow it to work better.
Replacing it with a WEB interface controller is very expensive.
2) SAMWAC uses a cell signal system to monitor pump and tank status.
It is not configured optimally for today's information demands.
Someone needs to become familiar with the device and the sources
of read-out data that are available off it. Again, while someone is around
to answer questions.
3) Become the internet guru for the well site. We have it 80% there, but it needs the final push.
Site security, backup tank telemetry, and real time flow monitoring for leaks. There is
a web server at the tank site that could also be programmed to do things.
4) SAMWAC Web Master. There are two web sites for SAMWAC and someone needs to
keep it in tune and understand the data input fields.
5) Database management. There are *many* historic files that folks might think should be
preserved. No one is currently even investigating what we have to see what holes exist.
Historic files should be scanned to the Cloud so they are not lost.
6) Diesel Mechanic. The generator needs someone that is skilled in the operations of a
significant diesel engine to look after it. It has been run recently and needs to be
put on a maintenance schedule.
